COME AND JOIN US

The season is from April to October, exact dates depend on the weather. During the season, we have "roll-ups" every weekday, (and some Saturdays) at 1.45 for a 2.00pm start. Roll-ups are informal games, normally doubles (2 players each team) or triples (3 players each team). We usually play until about 4.00 pm

New players are welcome to come to try the game for free; we will lend you bowls and give you some basic instructions.  You can try bowling for free 3 times, after that you would need to become a member. If you are a member of Barnet U3A you can come on Tuesday afternoons and play for £4 a session.

If you are interested in playing or joining next spring, contact the webmaster, barnetbowls@mail.com

Or phone Brian 07931316580 or Alan 07521904485

The Club was established in 1926  and situated in the lovely surroundings of the Old Court House Recreation Ground a park located just off Wood Street in High Barnet. The Club is the ideal venue for members and visitors to enjoy a game of lawn bowls in the friendly atmosphere of the Club.

There are two bowling greens, with a total of ten rinks.

Social and competitive games of bowls are readily available or just participate in our regular rollups. See this website for operating hours and events and a wealth of other information about the Club.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

2021: ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR FOR BARNET BOWLS CLUB IN EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS.

There were very few external competitions in 2019-2020 due to the pandemic. However, we won the Finchley and District doubles and triples, a feat we repeated in the current year, 2020-2021.

This year we have won the Jubilee Cup, Dehavilland Shield and the Finbar cup, we came top of our group in the Prentice Cup and were runners up in the Day Cup.
